And Just Like That....We are Moving Online!

Many people have expressed sadness and disappointment after hearing the news last week that Creme de la Creme Boutique is making the move to online only.  I understand that not everyone relates to the pressure of being a business owner in the world we live in today and all of the thought that goes into making huge decisions like this.  I can tell you that this was not easy, but I would be lying if I said I am not super excited about it.  I truly believe this is the right thing to do to ensure longevity moving forward.

I am not making this move because my business is struggling, it is quite the opposite.  We have grown substantially in the online space.  To be honest, we have been shorthanded at the store front for about 6 months.  We have had people lined up for positions that fell through, and circumstances just did not work out. I finally threw my hands in the air and said "Ok God!  I hear you loud and clear!"

I have noticed a trend in business since Covid hit and I see "We're Hiring" signs everywhere.  It's like there are so many jobs and no people to fill them.  I can't tell you how many times I have tried to go to one of our favorite restaurants and they are closed due to staffing shortages or going to stores that would normally be open until 9pm that are closing at 7pm.  These are companies that have millions in sales and hundreds of locations.  So, in order to bring the highest level of customer care I want to be able to focus my resources and energy where I know I can serve the most people to the best of my ability.

Moving forward, we are going to pour all of our efforts into making online shopping the best it can be.  We want to bring the experience of Creme de la Creme to iPads, Phones and computers everywhere. We will still have pickup available for all of our local shoppers, easy returns, and will be adding more live sales to our schedule.

I appreciate each and every one of you that have cheered me on and supported me through one of the most turbulent times in history and I hope that you join us on this new adventure as we transition.  xoxo, Shelli

I am so happy for you. The overhead of running a storefront is crazy. I can only see this as a very positive, beneficial decision for you. Blessings for your continued success sweet lady!
